Caroline Mundy
Age: 19
Nickname: None
Occupation: Saloon Girl/Entertainer
Face Claim: Chloe Grace Moretz
Alias: Gfictional
APPEARANCE:
Gender: Female
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 120 lbs
Hair Color: Light brown
Eye Color: Green
Appearance: Short, average build, hair usually worn up, she likes to wear makeup and paints her fingernails like the Eastern actresses do. She never wears hats even though women are expected to in public. She makes an effort to stay in fashion dresswise. Her complexion tends toward pale as she spends most of her time indoors.
PERSONALITY:
Caroline is outgoing, talkative, a real charmer at least while working the customers in the saloon. She knows the ropes and takes her job seriously. She knows she isn't really beautiful but her infectious personality wins people over. In private, she is more serious, on occasion even moody. She is also a lot tougher than she looks. Get her angry and she is not afraid to use violence.
Though openly provacative when going about town, with her scandalous makeup, painted nails, and refusal to ever wear a hat like a proper lady should, she however can be very defensive about a few things such as being confused with a whore. She will stress she does not engage in such things, she is an entertainer and saloon girl not a hooker.
Though not really related, Caroline and Ralph are close, they share the same passion for the saloon business, they protect each others' backs. Though she would never admit it out loud, Caroline is at times very lonely. But as for her life choices, she is most content with her career.
HISTORY:
Caroline was born in a seedy Chicago neighborhood to an unmarried woman, father unknown for certain even to the mother. Though the woman had more than her share of issues, she did on most occasions try to do right by her daughter.
Eventually Caroline's mother fell in with Ralph in his saloon and Ralph took in the child, putting her to work at a young age washing glasses or mopping floors. Ralph noticed the child was very bright and arranged, in a most unusual good deed for him, to see to it she was given a basic education of reading, writing, and arithmetic, paying the private tutor in drinks for that man happened to be an alcoholic. The saloon piano player taught Caroline to play that instrument and discovered she was a capable singer. And that was it.
Carolyn had found her future, a saloon girl who could charm menfolk into buying drinks, who could sing and dance, and who even kept the books for Ralph, not a strongpoint of his.
Her mother died of a laudanum overdose when Caroline was fourteen and not much missed as Caroline already looked upon Ralph as her father figure. Their life in Chicago came to a sudden end when an ugly brawl escalated into gunshots. Ralph knew it was time to leave that city and try for a new life out west. Of course Caroline accompanied him. Now Caroline continues where she left off, this time in a Golden Valley saloon.
