The Rules.

Rating: Keep it to PG-13

Registration:

• The first account that you create should be under your player name (Alias), but you will need to create separate character accounts (sub accounts) for each individual character.
• Character account's should be the character's first name only.
• Character account's display name should be First Name, Last Name.
• Character Applications must be submitted for approval within one week of creating the character account or the account is subject to deletion at anytime.
• There is no Limit to the number of Characters that you can have, provided that you can handle posting for all of them. 2-3 Well-crafted, interesting characters is much better than 7-8 less interesting ones.

Posting:

• In the first post of a new thread, please include the date and approximate time of day when your thread starts.
• There is no set word count; however, we do ask that you use common sense and give your writing partner enough new content for them to give you a reply. This is a writing game after all.
• And because this is a writing game, please proof read your writing carefully before you post it to the site. *See the examples of proofed and un-proofed writing below.
• We ask that you post at least once a month for every single character. However, posting once a week is far more preferable since there are people waiting on you for a reply.
• If, for any reason, you find yourself unable to play for a time, please let us know ASAP in the Absences Forum.
• Do not kill, maim, speak for, or act for another player's character and/or pet unless you have that player's direct permission to do so.
• Within a post, use italics to show what your character thinks. Example: Parker hid a smile, If you only knew. She thought before she spoke to Misty, "Why don't you ask him?"
• If a post is submitted using the wrong account please post immediately after from the correct account and send a PM to the admin or a mod so the initial post can be deleted.

Graphics:

• Avatar Pictures must be 100x100 pixels.
• Profile Pictures must be 200x350 pixels.
• Use real Celebrities for face claims. No Animated or Cartoon characters allowed for Character Accounts.  They are however, allowed for your Main Account.
• Effective today, Nov 18th, 2017 any new characters should use different images for the avatar, profile and applications.
• Please be sensible over the size and use of large and/or animated images. Go with the rule of thumb that less is more.

The Rules are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the admin staff. Please keep a regular eye out for announcements and/or updates of this thread.

Proofed
Troy spotted the foursome by the train station and made his way over, curious about the single new face in the mix as he already knew Caroline, Katie and Timothy. When he got closer, Troy flashed his boyish grin to the small group, then tipped his hat to the two females in the group. “Afternoon everyone.” Troy said, the gold badge on his broad chest glinting in the sun.

“I’m the sheriff of Golden Valley, Troy Slater.” He looked from James to the trunks behind him on the platform. “New arrival I take it?” He drawled, “Do you need any help? I could get a wagon from the Livery if you like?” He knew that the lanky man before him would be hard pressed to get even one of the trunks to either the hotel or the boarding house.
